

Starting with macOS 10.13 High Sierra: During the installation, you will be prompted to enable the An圜onnect software extension in the System Preferences -> Security & Privacy pane.When you see this screen, UN-check everything with the exception of VPN: ( VPN option grayed out? Go here.).

Double-click on An圜onnect.mpkg to run the installer, then follow the steps to complete the installation.An icon will appear on the desktop called An圜onnect, and a separate window will open. (This is part of what An圜onnect is good at the setup.NOTE: If you have an FBRI-provided Mac, the Cisco Anyconnect Client is already installed. It can require the assistance of whoever is running the VPN server, if they do not have the setup details published. I've found the built-in client works well, once set up. If you don't need Cisco An圜onnect (and AFAIK Secure Client is a package that includes An圜onnect), yes, there are alternative VPN clients, including the built-in VPN client support. Y'all pay 💰💰💰 for the privilege of Cisco TAC, and for getting fixes from Cisco. Yes, Cisco stuff can break, and yes, Apple changes can break apps, too. Is there a known issue with 13.1 at all? Have tried reinstalling An圜onnect to no avail, and seeing this across two machines both on 13.1. I'm using 9 and although connected, no traffic is being redirected through the connection. Is this still the case with 13.1? I skipped 13.0, and jumped from 12.x to 13.1, and noted that my existing config no longer works as expected.
